Are you a Midwesterner who misses those fun flurry days of snow ball fighting and snow man making? Never experienced a winter up North? Then, frolic to Hargray's Annual Snow Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Shelter Cove Community park on Hilton Head Island.

The snow machine is back to pelt people with piles of snow. Food vendors will be on hand, as well as a fire pit for roasting marshmallows. The children will also enjoy Jumpin Jaxx inflatable rides — some which reach more than 30 feet.

The cost is $10 for children 2-18. Adults and children under 2 are free. Proceeds benefit The Island Recreation Center.
