Big trucks are the theme for The Sandbox's Family Fun Night, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 3.
The free monthly event will feature a variety of “big” trucks for kids to explore. Palmetto Electric’s bucket truck, Coastal Towing’s “Shrek” tow truck, Coastal Concrete’s cement truck, Ulmer Brother’s dump truck and excavator and a big “Monster” truck will all be on site.
“We are looking forward to the big event,” said Sandbox Executive Director, Anne Finn. “The children love to see and experience the trucks and all the different things they can do. Everyone is invited to attend. The event is free to all.”
The Sandbox hosts their monthly Family Fun Nights the first Friday of each month, September through May. This month’s event is sponsored by Lowcountry Child and Guardian Angels Babysitting Service.
The Sandbox is located at 18-A Pope Avenue, next to St. Andrew’s by the Sea United Methodist Church.
