Infant Massage
When/Where: 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Jan. 27 and Feb. 3, 10 at Dancing Dogs Yoga
Info: A fun, four-week parent-baby class in which parents learn a massage route at home for their babies. Classes are taught in a warm, relaxed atmosphere by a certified educator of infant massage for babies 3 months to pre-crawling. Instructor Alyson Wiggins, who is expecting her third child, will lead the class. Benefits of baby massage include relaxation and decreased stress for baby and parent; relief from discomforts such as colic, gas and constipation; improved sleep patterns; stimulates brain development and sensory awareness; less crying because parents are better able to understand and respond to baby's cues; baby's major systems are stimulated (digestive, immune, respiratory, circulatory and nervous); and promotes bonding and attachment.
Cost: $60 for the four week course

Women's Lecture

Info: Dr. Kristi Blessitt of Bon Sain Complete Women's Healthcare and Dr. Rahmie Valentine of Low Country Healing Arts will continue their lecture series on women's health issues regarding traditional and alternative medicine. The next lecture will cover adrenal deficiency. Lectures in the series scheduled over the next six months will include gynecological oncology, nutrition and postpartum depression.

Info: Hilton Head Choral Society brings the British a cappella group Voces* for a concert. The young British ensemble will perform a collection of jazz and pop favorites.
