Jewelry Making with Precious Metal Clay

Girl Scouts to celebrate 100 years with Bridge Walk
When/Where:  March 10, 2012, at the Ravenel Bridge in Savannah
Info: Girl Scouts is turning 100! In Girl Scouts, bridging ceremonies mark a girl's transition from one leadership level to the next. These ceremonies are designed to emphasize the continuity of the Girl Scout program and to welcome girls to an anticipated next level. This event will feature walks across the Ravenel Bridge, walking into the next century of Girl Scouting. Walkers will be divided into waves for the bridge walk. Later, festivities continue at Mt.Pleasant Waterfront Park, where guests will enjoy music, crafts, inflatables, face painting, clowns and more. There will plenty of opportunities for girls to “rock the park!”
Cost: Registration fee is $40 through Jan. 15, and no registrations will be taken after Jan. 15. The fee includes a T-shirt, patch and tote bag. It also includes parking, transportation to and from event (from parking lot), lunch, birthday cake and activities.

The Junior Heritage Golf Tournament
When/Where: February 4 (Saturday) & February 5 (Sunday)
Info: The Junior Heritage features some of the country's finest junior golfers playing at The Sea Pines Resort’s Heron Point by Pete Dye golf course on Saturday and famed Harbour Town Golf Links on Sunday. The two-day championship has a rich history of world-class golf with a list of champions that includes Paula Creamer, Charles Howell III, Brittany Lang, Sean O'Hair, Kyle Stanley and Alexis Thompson.

Gullah Variety Show

Home School Dance Unlimited

New Harmonies Sunday Concert Series: FolkUs and The Hungry Monks

Students should be able to balance on releve in extended poses such as arabesque and attitude and land a double pirouette smoothly.

When/Where: Saturday, January 28 from 1-4 pm. The Hilton Head Island Chapter of the Archaeological Society of South Carolina will hold its 3rd annual “What the Heck is THIS” at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn. The Coastal Discovery at Honey Horn is located at 70 Honey Horn Drive.
Info: Two of South Carolina’s most distinguished archaeologists will be on hand to help decipher the history of any of your personal mystery artifacts. This program is based loosely on the “Antique Road Show” concept and anyone in the community who has unidentified archaeological artifacts is welcome to being them.
