Celebrate family fun on the 4th of July at The Sandbox’s second annual “Pop Goes the Sandbox” Wednesday, July 4, from 10 am to 2 p.m.!

Festivities include special games and activities both indoors and outdoors. In addition to playing at all of the exhibits in our “cool” museum, there will be scavenger hunts, games and fun arts & crafts. Decorate holiday cookies and make a patriotic craft. Outside fun includes many carnival games and prizes, bubble fun, snow cones and playing in The Sandbox’s Bounce House.

Enjoy our BBQ picnic provided by One Hot Mama’s with all the fixin’s and a big flag birthday cake provided by Harris Teeter. There will be lemonade and snow cones to keep you cool. So don’t miss out on our 4th of July celebration and BBQ picnic!

Ticket prices are $10 per person (under 12 months are free) and includes admission to the museum, all activities and the picnic. Sandbox Members, active military and seniors are $8 per person.

The Sandbox is located at 18-A Pope Avenue, next to St. Andrew’s By-The-Sea United Methodist Church.
